Whilst an associate director at Fletcher Priest Architects, Ray Holden was responsible for delivering the spectacular office development, No. 1 Wood Street, for Land Securities. Set in the heart of the St Paul's conservation area, the building is clad in Portland stone, bead blasted aluminium and glass.
The open facade has views out to St Paul's Cathedral and when built, boasted the largest green roof in the City of London. Originally constructed as a speculative development, this beautiful building is now the international headquarters of Eversheds Lawyers.
